A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a rounded shield blazoned: Gules, a bar gemel wavy Or between four bezants, issuant from base an ascending guided missile Argent garnished Sable exhaust Proper. Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Black scroll inscribed "REX TORMENTORIUM" in Gold letters.
Red and yellow are the colors for Field Artillery. The wavy bands and four discs symbolize four islands to indicate the organization's World War II Pacific campaign honors. The guided missile denotes the advanced speed and power of the Battalions' artillery. The motto translates to "King of Artillery."
